"It's Your Cause" Video Contest

Win a FREE iPod Shuffle or Subscription to Teen Health & Wellness

Enter to be included in a drawing to win an iPod Shuffle! Plus, all videos that meet submission guidelines will be published on Teen Health & Wellness when we launch our video program this summer: It’s simple. From depression to dating to green living, spread the word about any Teen Health & Wellness topic you feel passionately about by creating a video PSA (public service announcement).

How to Enter
1.  Shoot a short video (two minutes or less). Design it like a PSA (public service announcement) you might see on your favorite TV channel.
2.  Post it to your YouTube account.
3.  Tag your YouTube Video with THW_TTW_2010.
4.  Enter your video by May 15, 2010. (You can enter as many videos as you like; they just need to have separate YouTube URLs and be entered separately.)
5.  Once you have uploaded your video, go to the Contact Us page and enter the following information to submit your entry.
Your name
Your email address
Your library name
The subject or title of your PSA
A link to your PSA
6.  You will receive an email confirmation that Teen Health & Wellness has received your submission.
 
Prizes
The best part: Everyone wins! All videos that meet our submission guidelines will be published on Teen Health & Wellness when we launch our video program this summer, and the teens will receive a letter of commendation from Rosen Publishing. Plus, three teens will be selected at random from the pool of submissions to win an iPod Shuffle. And, one library will be selected at random to win a free twelve-month subscription to Health & Wellness.
 
Contest Rules
  • Winners will be announced at the end of May.
  • You must be 13-19 years old to win.
  • All video content must be original.
  • Videos cannot include profanity or other inappropriate material.
  • All people appearing in the video must sign a release form prior to the video being posted on Teen Health & Wellness. (Those under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or guardian.)
  • You must submit a video that meets the contest rules in order to be entered to win an iPod Shuffle.
